What are you on the verge of?
Verge is a highly trusted partner in the civic tech and social impact service delivery space. We work at the intersection of strategy, talent/HR, and change management to support organizations working to get their people practices right.
Our belief: strong people systems create better experiences for candidates and employees, which translate into strong customer experiences. That's how organizations thrive.
With deep, hands-on experience across federal and state government, Fortune 500 companies, startups, and nonprofits, we've seen it all and we know how to deliver.
Our work isn’t magic
(though we've heard it seems like it)
We can serve you as fractional members of your team, or on a more contained project basis.
Our approach is in our name: we bring divergent perspectives together to converge on a path forward. We embed with your team, earn trust quickly, and move at the pace your work demands — scaling up or down as your needs and budget evolve.
And we meet you where you are, without judgment, and build the capacity to carry you forward.
Our ultimate win? When you don't need us anymore.
I'm a software engineer and not an HR professional, and…I’ve been one of the people to revamp hiring processes and navigate difficult people situations at every job I've had for the past 10 years. Every time I entered a hiring situation and looked at an interview process or script, my first reaction would be one of the following:
This process or interview isn't going to work
Why is the process setup like this?
What is this interview question for?
That's paternalistic/biased/not-inclusive
Ugh
I can honestly say that the hiring process and interview scripts that Verge ran for a leadership role was the first time in 10 years that I had a "This is wonderful" reaction and felt a great amount of relief.
